The Government of India initiated online applications for the 2025 -26 academic year through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Openings for Pre-Matric and Post-Matric scholarship options will be available under various scholarship schemes classified as either Scheme(s) under Central Sector. Eligible female and male clients may apply online through the official NSP website — scholarships.gov.in — beginning 2nd June 2025 and ending 31st October 2025 for study financial assistance.
Scholarship Details
The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) provides numerous scholarships for students at various academic levels. Those at the Pre-Matriculation level, representing classes 1 to 10, Post-Matriculation level, representing classes 11 to 12, and both the Central Sector and Centrally Sponsored Schemes for higher education.
These scholarships assist students from a variety of groups, from SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and students from the general category, so that no student will be excluded from education due to financial trouble. Financial support can be provided for tuition fees, maintenance allowance, or there could be funding for other purposes based on the different schemes.
Students from all states and union territories of India retaining eligibility to apply, and scholarships are available to both male and female representation. Applications will be filed online through the official NSP portal, scholarships.gov.in, leading up to the final date of submission of 31st October 2025.
