The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of District Sports Officer (DSO) for a total of 33 vacancies. The application process will be conducted online from 2nd September 2025 to 26th September 2025. Candidates must hold a graduate degree along with a diploma or postgraduate diploma in sports coaching from recognized institutions, and must also fulfill specific sports achievement requirements. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate from a recognized university.
- Diploma/PG Diploma in Sports Coaching from:
• Sports Authority of India (SAI)
• Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE), Gwalior
• Central Sports University
• Any UGC or Bihar-recognized Sports University
Sports Achievements:
- Representation of India in international events such as Olympics, Asian/Commonwealth Games.
- Representation of the state at national level.
- Multiple participations in recognized university/inter-services/police/railway championships.
