Education Qualification

Post Graduate Programmes in Management (PGP)

Applicants to IIM CAT 2025 must hold a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST, and PWD category candidates) from a recognised university/institution. The applicant's degree must be from a university established by an Act of Parliament or state legislature or recognised as a deemed university under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. Qualifications recognised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, are also considered acceptable. 


Fellowship Programmes in Management (FPM) / (PHD)

Eligible candidates include those in their final year of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent program, and those who have completed all requirements for their degree and are awaiting results. If selected, these eligible candidates will be permitted to join the program only provisionally on the strict condition that a certificate is provided to the respective IIM from the Principal or Registrar of their university or institution. This certificate, given on or before the date specified by the respective IIM, must state clearly that all requirements to obtain the Bachelor’s degree or equivalent have been met.
